Privacy policy

The short version

We collect your email when you ask for something. We use it to record and respond to your request. Downloads are delivered in your browser; the newsletter is a launch interest list. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with advertisers. You can get it deleted by sending one email.

What we collect

• What you give us. Email address, and where a form asks for them, your name, company, website, role, stage, budget and message.
• Context attached to a form submission. The page you submitted from, the referring origin, campaign or click identifiers on the submission URL, browser language, viewport width, consent version and the time.
• Hosting operations. Firebase processes request information needed to serve and protect the website. No third-party visitor analytics or advertising pixels are enabled by this site.

We do not collect payment details, because nothing here is paid for. We do not run advertising pixels. There is no third-party ad tracking on this site.

Why we use it

To provide the resource you requested, respond to a review or consultation request, or record your interest in the newsletter. To understand which pages are useful so we know what to write next. That is the whole list.

Legal basis

The form asks for permission to process the requested resource or response. You can ask us to stop using your contact details through the contact form. Requests for a resource do not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing.

Who processes it

Form submissions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Automated email delivery is not currently enabled. Hosting is Firebase Hosting. Each of these acts as a processor on our instructions and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Stored requests should be retained only while needed for the requested purpose. You can request deletion through the contact form. Retention and deletion requests are handled by the site operator; there is no claim of an automatic newsletter unsubscribe or retention workflow.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Use the contact form to submit the request. If you are in the EU or UK and you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Cookies

We set no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies, which is why there is no consent banner on this site. Your browser stores a few things locally so the site behaves properly: your light or dark theme choice, whether you dismissed the footer bar, checklist progress, and whether you have already submitted a form. Campaign fields are read from the current URL only when you submit a form; they are not stored across your browsing history. Your theme, checklist and dismissal preferences stay on your device.

Children

This site is aimed at working professionals and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

This page records the current policy and its update date. Review it before submitting information if you want to check for changes.
